Excellent points, particularly number three. Despite the fact that most residential buildings in Jersey City own a median of one vehicle, I believe that the city's population density, coupled with transfers from other bus routes - especially workers commuting from Bayonne - could compensate for this, similar to how the Q3 route in Queens serves vehicle-owning households yet maintains high ridership due to population density along Farmers Boulevard and passenger transfers from other routes to reach JFK Airport. |
