Davey and the Chairman didn't like the "optics" of Free Fare bus routes, and used classism to justify his reason for his opinion.What fell flat with his argument was the fact that both He and the Chairperson are smack dab representatives of "the Man Culture", and did not have the right to criticize. Not only that, but the MTA taxes Every One ,even those who don't use the system, but use it's bridge and tunnel network. Soon it will be getting congestion toll money from drivers coming in to Manhattan.. And they plan on doing Nothing to increase service for people who decide to stop driving into 'the City". So,once again, people are getting bled by this crooked ass agency, and getting nothing in return. |
